Frequently Asked Questions

Long Arm Quilting

What type of quilting do we do?
We currently are only accepting Edge-to-Edge quilts or all over designs.

How much does it cost?
Edge-to-Edge designs are $.015 cents per square inch plus thread and batting.

  •        For Example: Quilt size 60 x 70 inches. Take 60x70=4200 sq inches. 4200x.015=63. So this quilt would be $63 for quilting.
Thread is charged at $1.00 per bobbin

We carry Hobbs 80/20 on the roll for $.20 per inch.

Do we carry Batting?
Yes! We have Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 Cotton blend by the roll available for $.20 per inch or in package sizes crib, twin/full, queen and king.

Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 Cotton blend offers more loft and less weight than traditional cotton. This blend is made with 80% natural cotton and 20% fine polyester. It is needle punched and has a light resin bonding to provide exceptional strength and durability. It is ideal for hand or machine quilting.

Prepare binding- $25
Any additional or unexpected costs will be charged at $25 per hour.

Quilt Preparation
Please have the backing material and batting at least 3-4" bigger than the top on all sides. You do not need to sandwich your quilt before bringing as we load each layer separately onto the long arm table. A nicely pressed quilt top will always have the best possible outcome. We do charge extra if a top needs extra pressing before quilting.
